What is Innate Health?

Innate Health is the idea that all people are inherently whole. Regardless of circumstance, genetics or past experiences, all humans continue to posses the capacity for mental health and well being. It is not necessary to acquire this ability because it is inborn and innate. It is your default setting.

If my health is innate, why don't I feel good all the time? Why is there mental illness?

The existence of Innate Health does not mean that you will not go through the normal ups and downs of life. Rather, it points to an underlying resilient source that is underneath the ever changing episode of the moment. Even during the most distressful, unpleasant or even mentally unstable experiences it is possible to maintain a sense of well being through this awareness.

If innate health doesn't make me feel better then how does it help me at all?

Intellectual learning about your Innate Health has very little benefit.  However, seeing and realizing the truth of Innate Health in a tangible way can have profound and lasting effects. Through an awareness of how all reality is generated, the nature of it's source and how it is personally experienced, one can attain the freedom necessary for effortless change, happiness and infinite possibility.

How do I become aware of my Innate Health?

The truth is, like any realization, it may come to you at any moment. However, we have found that seminars, classes and intensive sessions are a wonderful way to facilitate an awareness of Innate Health. Ultimately, the goal is to bring about a paradigm shift regarding how you understand your world. It may require humility to consider a dynamic that differs from the one you hold now.

Because the source of any realization has little to do with intelligence, reason, logic or "booksmarts", we have found that the best way to cultivate an awareness of any kind is to marinate or immerse oneself in these concepts until a realization occurs all in it's own

What are the Three Principles?

The Three Principles are Mind, Consciousness and Thought. These principles are only a metaphor or an attempt to describe the mechanics behind human experience.

Why are they called principles?

The descriptive term "principle" is generally reserved for fundamental rules or concepts that hold true across all situations. For example: the principle of gravity. These phenomena are seen as principles because they are fundamental, primary facts that hold true for all and any human experience. There are no known exceptions.

What is wisdom in the context of Innate Health?

Any time we realize something new we have been visited by "wisdom". Some refer to this experience as an insight. Wisdom is not the accumulation of information or ideas, rather it is what is bestowed upon us in the moment. It is usually associated with a fresh feeling, of clarity and truth. Regardless of intelligence quotient test scores, anyone has the essence required to be visited by this higher wisdom. In fact, you may have been visited by it many times already today!

Can Innate Health save my marriage?

If saving or improving your marriage is of importance to you, we believe that going about achieving that end would be more fortuitous if done so with an understanding and awareness of how life works. Trying to fix a car without understanding engine mechanics will usually end in failure. We have seen countless stagnant, boring, listless marriages transform into vibrant, supportive and loving relationships after one or both partners have realized the Principles and Innate Health.

Why do businesses and corporations teach these principles to their employees?

Many businesses have come to appreciate just how vital a healthy employee is to their bottom line. Relationships between employees and their vocation, CEOs and department supervisors and at the crucial point of sale with customers are all governed by the same Three Principles. Many companies have found that through gaining a meaningful understanding of how all experience is self-generated through the Three Principles, specific departments and entire companies transform from failure and gridlock into success and innovation.

How is this approach different from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy?

Although all CBT approaches recognize the role that thought plays in determining feelings in the moment to moment experience, it differs from Innate Health in two crucial ways. One, CBT offers great techniques and interventions to alter unwanted thoughts while Innate Health facilitators see no need to modify any thought - there only needs to be a shift in the relationship to all thought, however pleasant or distressing. Second, Innate Health facilitation awakens people to the vast potential and infinite possibility which resides within all of us in a realistic and visible way.
